On the outside Dr. Bill Dorfman, the Los Angeles native, father of 3, and “celebrity dentist” may seem like an ordinary guy, but he’s actually EXTRAORDINARY! Dr. Bill is a dental expert and has A-lister celebrity clients including Usher, Jessica Simpson, Katie Perry, Anthony Hopkins, Apolo Ono, Michael Strahan, Kelly Osbourne, Gene Simmons, Hugh Jackman, Chris Paul, and Anthony Hopkins. He has also been on several TV shows including Extreme Makeover, The Doctors, and GMA to name a few. He even wrote the first ever New York Times Best Selling Book on dentistry, but these are not the only reasons why we love him so much! Dr. Bill has helped raise more than 30 million dollars for Garth Brook’s Smiles for Life, he’s donated his whitening products to dentists around the country and used their proceeds to help seriously ill, disabled, and underprivileged children around the world, he has raised money for children orphaned as a result of AIDS in South Africa through Tomorrow’s Trust, and he has also helped restore the smiles of battered women through Safe Passages! Even with all of these accomplishments, he is most passionate about his non-profit, The LEAP Foundation. LEAP is a one-week leadership program for high school and college students from around the world. It’s held on the UCLA campus where attendees learn the tools of becoming successful in life. “The greatest part of being successful is giving back. There’s nothing that makes me feel better than knowing I changed somebody’s life in such a positive way,” says Dr. Bill.
