Doughnut shop reopens in Greenwood Village

Fractured Prune fractured some hearts when it closed its Denver location in 2017. The Ocean City, Maryland doughnut shop is known for its personalized fried-to-order dunkers and just reopened, but this time in Greenwood Village. The new location at 9696A East Arapahoe Road celebrated its grand opening by handing out free doughnuts all day long, and free doughnuts for a year to the lucky first 10 guests in line.

Denver dentist recognized by national organization

Curtis M. Becker was honored by the American College of Prosthodontists with the Private Practice Prosthodontist Award for the Rocky Mountain region. The longtime Denver resident was recognized for his collegiality, outreach and community service. Prosthodontists are dental specialists who focus on the restoration and replacement of missing teeth.

Four Coloradans inducted into Agriculture Hall of Fame

The Colorado FFA Foundation honored four inductees into the Farm Credit Colorado Agriculture Hall of Fame at its annual awards dinner. Rocky Mountain Food Industry Association President and CEO Mary Lou Chapman, former state Commissioner of Agriculture Thomas Kourlis, agriculture scientist Dr. Lee Summers and Harry Charles Talbott of Talbott Mountain Gold were the awardees.
